St. John's Cathedral

Pictured in the 1940s, this group apparently await the arrival of a funeral to the Cathedral or they could be waiting for the Corpus Christi procession which always ended at our Cathedral. It is interesting to note the difference between the haves and have nots. The children on the right are all barefoot and the women wear their shawls. On the left the more well-to-do folk line up their horse and traps and appear ready for a good day out.
