Lower Gerald Griffin Street
A pretty rare photograph of the upper end of Lower Gerald Griffin Street. Just above Tinsly’s lived Patrick Delaney, In No. 6 Nellie Gibbons lived while in No. 7 John Clancy had a Licensed premises. In 7a John R. Tinsly (pictured) had a salt stores and yard; in 8 Peter Lowry had a chemist shop; in 9 William Penny and later Richard Penny had a potato shop and they also had a house and yard at No. 10. In No. 11 Mrs. Catherine Hayes had a Licensed Premises (still in existence today).
